About Us

OIP (17).jpeg

In Flint, Michigan, is where I perfected my perfection, the foundation of everything I create. The city’s raw energy, creativity, and resilience have shaped my sound and my spirit. From The Electricians to The Rollettes, from Piece of the Rock to the days of rocking school dances with Kenneth Box (K.B.), and learning from legends like Willie Ward and countless other Flintstones who paved the way, every beat I make carries a piece of that legacy.

Flint taught me hustle, passion, and authenticity. It’s where my rhythm found its roots and my purpose found its power. I continue to represent Hip Hop with every project, every artist I work with, and every track that leaves the studio, staying true to the craft until the wheels fall off.

As long as I can create, I’ll keep delivering exclusive heat from my fleet of B.P.M. Beats, straight from the heart of Flint to the world.

My Story

It all started in Flint, Michigan, after returning home from Desert Storm in September 1991.

Coming back as a war vet wasn’t easy, the streets had changed, the people had changed, and so had I. I left Flint back in 1985, right after Job Corps, and after six years away, the city was almost unrecognizable. Out of that struggle and transformation, I founded H.A.N. (Hustlin’ Azz Niggaz), a mindset before it was a movement, which later evolved into Hustlin Recordz.

Music has always been in my blood. My family had a musical background, though much of it stayed unspoken, hidden stories and untold history. From an early age, I found rhythm everywhere, beating on pots, using a rocking chair as a drum, anything that could make a sound. Before long, that rhythm turned into a love for martial arts, then popping, then breakdancing, all rooted in the Hip Hop culture that became my way of life.

I learned from the greats around me, Willie Ward, Poppa Breed, and K.B., and from them, I caught the spark that pushed me toward the turntables, toward sound, toward creation.

Through all of it, war, change, growth, and the grind, one thing stayed the same:

I Stayed Hungry.
